  • Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses tiny, layered deposits of pigment to replicate the appearance of natural hair follicles on the scalp.

    • Hair loss / thinning hair (male or female pattern baldness)

    • Receding hairlines

    • Camouflaging scars (from hair transplants, injuries, or surgeries)

    • Creating a shaved-head look with the appearance of density

    • We use micro-needles to place pigment into the epidermal layer of the scalp.

    • The dots are carefully sized, spaced, and shaded to match your natural hair color and skin tone.

    • Unlike traditional tattoos, SMP pigment is designed to fade gradually, not turn blue or green.

  • Most clients describe the pain at about a 4 on a scale of 10 at its worst. The more sensitive your scalp, the more uncomfortable it may feel. Rest assured it is nowhere near the pain of a traditional tattoo. SMP only penetrates the epidermal layer of skin, unlike a traditional tattoo which penetrates to the dermal layer and causes bleeding.

    • It does not grow hair — it’s an optical illusion

    • Usually requires 2–3 sessions

    • Semi-permanent (designed to lightly fade in 5-10 years)
